My TBR is Crying, But I’m Still Buying More Books! | Crazy Book Haul for Spring πΈπ
Hey book lovers! It’s Book Lover Bri here, and let’s be honest... my TBR pile is already dangerously high, but that didn’t stop me from doing a crazy book haul for spring. If you’re a fellow mood reader, bookworm, or just someone who loves the thrill of finding your next favorite read, you’re in the right place.
In my latest YouTube video, I share all the amazing books I’ve picked up recently—ranging from nostalgic 90s thrillers to epic fantasy and swoony romance. Some are long-time wishlist titles, others were total impulse buys (no regrets though π).
Let’s dive into the chaos, shall we?
π SOME of The Books I Hauled
Here’s a peek at what’s making my TBR cry this season:
-
Promise Me Sunshine by Cara Bastone – The cozy romance vibes are immaculate.
-
Our Infinite Fates – Can’t resist a dreamy title with fate and fantasy.
-
The Hunger Games series – A nostalgic reread (and yes, still hits hard).
-
ACOTAR by Sarah J. Maas – Finally diving into the hype!
-
The Serpent and the Wings of Night – Vampires and deadly competitions? Sign me up.
-
90s R.L. Stine books – Because I’m living my Goosebumps fantasy again.
-
All of Sarah Adams’ backlist – Pure serotonin in book form.
-
A Fable for the End of the World – Dark and poetic? Yes please.
-
Rebel Witch – Needed something magical and empowering.
-
Random Romance Novels – The “cover was cute so I bought it” genre.
-
Icebreaker – Hockey romance and tension? I’m there.
-
Prize Money – A queer cowgirl romance. Enough said.
-
Anxious People by Fredrik Backman – Emotional, hilarious, unforgettable.
-
A Crumbling of a Nation and Other Stories – Short stories to shake things up.
-
Forever Interrupted by Taylor Jenkins Reid – I know it’s going to break me.
-
Fragile Sanctuary – Gothic? Check. Mysterious? Double check.
-
Shadow and Bone & Siege and Storm – Catching up on Grishaverse finally!
☕️ Why I Keep Buying Books (Even When I Have Too Many)
Books bring comfort, joy, escapism, and sometimes... a little chaos. And honestly, I don’t think we need to justify buying more books when they spark this much happiness. Spring is the perfect season to refresh your shelves with new adventures and cozy stories. π·
Whether it’s a nostalgic R.L. Stine re-read or falling into a Sarah J. Maas fantasy world, every book in this haul has a special reason it ended up in my cart.
